Green Arrow: Fresh From the Needles Friday Edition

March 15, 2013

What do you know I finally managed to have something finished for a Friday. It’s exciting in and of its self, but the main accomplishment is really just getting anything finished today. I have been sick for the last few days, what started as a tickle in my throat has manifested into a full on cold. This has left me feeling worn out and frankly I am almost too tired to do much beyond resting on the sofa, hoping for reprieve. I have managed to get some knitting done, but even that has slowed down. I am still on a hat kick which has been good for stash busting I suppose,  but probably makes for poor blogging. At least it’s different designs and colors.

Without further ado The Green Arrow Hat

Close up of the design

This time I did actually work up a little bit of a pattern for the color work before casting on. I am still working on making the stranding loose enough to allow it to rest comfortably on the head, but this one is definitely a marked improvement from the blue from Wednesday.

Yarn: Caron Simply Soft.

Colors: Dark Green and Pistachio

Size: 8 needles

Design: My own

  1. This is so much fun! I absolutely love the pattern!

  2. I think I have offered this before. Would like to showcase your work on my Wednesdays guest posts. Check them out to see what I mean. I would need gravatar, 4-6 sentence bio and perhaps four samples your work each item sent as jpeg(total six) items. Hope you choose to participate and join all the other talented Wednesday people.
